Our Process
Made with intention,
worn with meaning.
We source Vintage fabrics from far and wide to find fabrics with character, the more worn and storied, the better.The fabrics treasures would otherwise be thrown away our left to deteriorate for many years. Complementing textiles , threads and zips are all sourced from within Australia.
All fabrics we source are assessed, gently cleaned, and matched with complementary textiles or trims to honour its history while giving it new purpose. We curate schemes that lend themselves to our one off pieces of vintage patterned fabric, creating a fabric story for interior spaces.
Cut and sewn by hand in our workshop at 66 Gaskill Street in Canowindra, Central West NSW.Finch & Hatton's collections and designs are made with no short cuts, no mass production.Seams are pressed, corners are turned, every stitch is set with intention to deliver a timeless quality product.
